The day is here and you can purchase this online and in stores at Amazon, Target and Walmart for $29.99. Along with the demo content, you can also buy one for Space, Destinations and Wildlife for $14.95 each.

Motorola to Drop Moto Assist, Motorola Migrate and Motorola Connect

Motorola Transitioning Features in Marshmallow Update

Along with a list of devices that Motorola plans on updating to Marshmallow, the company also talked about how Android duplicates some of their own features. Now that Moto Assist is in the core Android OS, they don’t feel the need to develop it any further. We’re also told that Motorola Migrate and the Chrome extension called Motorola Connect will be retired as well.

Microsoft and ASUS Expand Patent Agreements

Right after the announcement about Microsoft and Google burying the hatchet in court, ASUS and Microsoft have come together to make an announcement of their own. It seems the two companies will expand the current licensing agreement they have together. This means we are going to see closer integration between the two companies, like Microsoft Office productivity services being pre-installed on ASUS devices.

Unwired Planet Inc. Takes on Google, Samsung and Huawei

You’ve probably never heard of Unwired Planet Inc. and that is because they don’t have any products. What they do have though is 2,000+ patents that were mostly acquired from Ericsson AB. Next week, Unwired Planet takes Google, Samsung and Huawei to court for allegedly violating 6 patents that they say are “considered foundational to mobile communications.” The lawsuits are expected to last more than a year.

ZenWatch Manager Update Brings New & Updated Watch Faces and a New UI

ZenWatch Manager Updated

The  ZenWatch 2 will be in the hands of customers around the world soon and ASUS has released a major update to their smartwatch manager application to celebrate. The update brings a completely redesigned user interface, a total of 50 watch faces to choose from and updates all of the existing watch faces to support Android Wear’s interactive watch face feature.
