With the release of Android 6.0, T-Mobile has announced their plans to update a number of their devices. Their update page tells us the following smartphones and tablets will be receiving the update: One M8/M9, LG G3/G4/Stylo, Nexus 5/6/7/9, Galaxy Note 4/5/Edge, Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Tab S2.

It’s fair to say that Sony’s mobile camera sensors are some of, if not the, best ones available today. Sony knows this and today the company announced they will be establishing the Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation. This is Sony’s devices division but their primary focus is their image sensors. We should see this corporation come into effect on April 1st, 2016.

Revert Android One Device To Stock For Android 6.0 OTA

Android One users have begun receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update through a ~340MB OTA. If you’re not on a completely stock build, you can follow along XDA Member sachin n‘s guide on reverting back to complete stock in order to receive the OTA update, or to flash it yourself.

How to Root the OnePlus 2 and Install TWRP Recovery

Our very own XDA TV Host TK was lucky enough to get his hands on the OnePlus 2. However, there were some glaring issues with the device. With an update to Oxygen ROM and some custom kernels, he was able to resolve a big majority of those issues. In order to install these custom kernels TK shows you how to root and install TWRP recovery the OnePlus 2. Remember it is completely normal at XDA, to root all the things, and the OnePlus 2 is no exception!

TK presents instructions on how to gain root access on your OnePlus 2 using tools from the XDA Developers Forums. The process is painless and pretty easy. This video shows you how to install TWRP recovery as well. So if you wanted to root your OnePlus 2, take a moment and check this video out.
