Virtual Reality is trying to push the boundaries of media consumption by creating an immersive experience unmatched by previous formats. So far, VR alternatives are limited and they are not quite what they are aiming to be a few years from now. That being said, they give us a glimpse into the future, and many enthusiasts can’t wait to see what’s coming. Have you tried VR through Cardboard, Gear VR, or other methods? What did you think?

It seems that rovo89 has been hard at work on getting the Xposed Framework ported over to Android Marshmallow. We knew that this work had already begun, but a new status update tells us that progress is going well. There still seems to be a lot of work ahead before an update can be released, but this is great news for any fan of rovo89’s work.

Snapprefs Update Brings Lens Support for Older Devices

The latest Snapprefs update brings support for version 9.17.1.0 of Snapchat. We also see that Reddit has been added as a main source of filters, the sticker size limit has been removed, Lens support has been added for older devices (image only) and if you long press the opacity button then you can draw some shapes.

It seems the massive 18.4″ Android tablet from Samsung has just made an appearance on an electronic retailer website. If everything is correct, the Samsung Galaxy View will cost $599 and will come with an LCD TFT display. Inside, we’re looking at the Exynos 7580, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 2.1MP front-facing camera, a 5,700mAh capacity battery (allegedly 8.5 hours of video playback) and Android Lollipop running the show.

HTC Delays Fitness Wearables Until Early 2016

Earlier this year we learned about a partnership between HTC and Under Armour to produce some fitness wearable devices. These were originally supposed to be released at the end of this year but it seems there has been something that’s caused a delay. In a new statement from HTC, we are now told to expect a “fully integrated digital ecosystem of products” early next year.
