However, in contrast to Doze mode, App Standby still honors an app’s wakelocks and alarms. How is the feature triggered? Reporst Suggests that Google Will Fold Chrome OS into Android

Multiple sources have told the Wall Street Journal that Google is planning on absorbing Chrome OS into Android and only having one operating system before the end of 2017. Microsoft has been doing something similar when it released Windows 10 that runs on both mobile and desktop device.
