It’s been close to a month since the HTC One M8 GPE received its Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA update. Many have been wondering where the kernel source code for this update has been and today we have some good news. Chrome for Android users in both India and Indonesia are getting an update to their Data Saver mode. A report out of China suggests that Samsung has been meeting with low-end to mid-range OEMs to discuss what it will take for them to start using AMOLED panels in their products. Cost seems to be the biggest reason why they haven’t adopted the technology yet. So in response, it is being reported that Samsung will drop the price of AMOLED panels by 20% next year.
