Signing up for an Adobe ID gets you a limited time trial for photo sync and desktop access, which is optional as the rest of the functionality still remains free.

Android 6.0.1 is Official and Includes New Emoji, Tweaked Tablet Interface and More

Google has announced 6.0.1 Marshmallow and this update brings Android up to date with Unicode 8 Emoji icons. Not only that, but we also see some tweaking to the navigation bar for tablets, where the Back and Home keys are in the leftmost section while the Overview button is on the far right. 6.0.1 also brings back the ‘until next alarm’ option for our Do Not Disturb mode.

Pixel C Spotted in Benchmarks with Android 6.0.1 and 3GB RAM

The Pixel C has been quite a hush hush affair so far, with Google giving vague timelines and rumors pointing to a release soon. However, the Pixel C has just been spotted on benchmarks with the Tegra X1 scoring 1411 in single-core performance and 4101 in multi-core performance. Other specs gleaned from the benchmarks are 3GB RAM, Android 6.0.1 and 7MP rear camera with a 10.2 inch 2560×1800 display.

Android Pay Reportedly Working with Chroma Custom ROM and Root on the Nexus 6P

XDA Senior Member bigdave79 was able to get Android Pay working on his Nexus 6P with Chainfire’s latest systemless SuperSU root and the Chroma custom ROM. He originally tried this with both Chroma & PureNexus ROMs but so far it has only allowed Android Pay to work with Chroma. With this method, bigdave79 was able to add a credit card and pay at a terminal.
