Oukitel is quite a new player on the Android scene, and now this Chinese OEM has officially announced the K10000 model which apart of its MT6735 SoC with 1.0 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of expandable storage, sports a massive 10,000 (!) mAh battery. We don’t have to mention how heavy this phone will be.

The Company Behind Gradle Picks Up $4.2 Million in Funding to Expand its Commercial Services

Gradle is an open source project that is well known to Android developers, but the team behind it also does support for about 100 paying customers and they want to expand upon the commercial side of things. The company has just received its first round of funding and was able to amass $4.2 million led by True Ventures and Data Collective to help ready the commercial service.

LlabTooFeR has leaked a chart that shows us HTC’s current plans for OTA updates between now and the first half of next year. Basically, almost all mid and high-end devices released this year and last year will either receive Android 6.0 or 6.0.1 and they will also receive Sense 7.0. There are still some devices in the Evaluation period right now, so nothing is guaranteed for those.
