wifi not working after lolipop 5.0 stock update

hi i am worried about my samsung galaxy note 3 wifi ,,,,its not opening when i press the toggle button.this started after update from 4.4.2 to 5.0. i manually updated the phone with odin and my firmware was n9005DXUGBOK3 WHICH I USE TO UPATE,before my phone was rooted ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,so please anyone heeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllppppppppppp

fake google play services is that can be done

this is my question nomber 4 i think please i hope this time i find an answer
i want to keep my android without google apps
or google play services
is there any app can do this job to make all apps never ask for google play services
and never use ram since i got only 368 MB Ram

Total complete noob help needed

OK, I just got an Amazon Fire HD 6 for free from a friend brand new so I figured this would be a great thing to learn rooting android and other things. No cost = no loss if I screw it all up.
Basically my goal is jut to root it to get it to be more like a regular old android tablet and not to have all the Amazon crap constantly running in the background sending all my info to Amazon every minute of every day. From reading here this seems possible. Please tell me if It's not.

Background:
I know quite a bit about PCs running Windows since 3.0 and have dabbled with Linux and Apache off and on over the years but I am by no means an expert. Advanced amateur might be better.
The tablet is running Fire OS 5.1.2. I don't know what it had when I first turned it on but I had no idea what I was going to do with it so I let it update itself until it got to the current 5.1.2.

I tried reading some of the tutorials but they seem way over my head as they seem to assume a knowledge of certain acronyms that I am not yet familiar with.

This is what I think I know so far. Please tell me if I'm wrong...
1. It is not possible to root 5.1.2. I probably should have left it at whatever it was when I got it which was probably 4.5.x.
2. Because of #1 above the only way for me to root this is to downgrade to 4.5.x.
Do I have that right so far? Because if I don't have at least that right then I am way off, so let's start there.

My goal would be for this thread to become a real "how to root your HD 6" for real total newbs like me. Step by step on what to download, from where, what is a TWRP what do you use it for, what is an ADB and what do you use it for, from turning the thing on to ending up with a nicely rooted tablet.

16GB ROM copy

Hi again,

My son prepared a 500GB model to boot Ubuntu from SD card and it seems there is an empty EMMC in the device. That's no news, but has anyone yet given a try to flash this memory? I would like to give it a try, but is there a straight DD copy of the memory available somewhere?

If there is not a copy anywhere yet, will someone make it?

[CM13] How to get SnapCamera?

Hi, I use CM13 Nightlies on my Zuk but the camera app (Camera2) is too "empty"...I read that since January, CM13 has a new camera app but I still have Camera2 and that bothers me a lot because SnapCamera is capable of SlowMotion and has a lot more settings than Camera2...so, the question is how can I get SnapCamera on my phone? Is there another way to get SlowMotion videos using CM13? Thank you in advance :rolleyes: :fingers-crossed:

Why isn't my device shown as QHSUSB_BULK in device manager trying to install a rom?

Hello. My device is RN3Pro. I wonder if anybody could help me with my case. I am trying to flash global rom with the method below. But when my device was supposed to be seen as QHSUSB_BULK in the device manager, it simply isn't. So I can't install the qualcomm driver to the device, thus no global rom for me. I am on win8.1 64bit if that helps.
