Fix "device offline" when using adb

Today I wanted to use adb on my phone but it always returned the message "device offline". Baffled as I was I started searching the web. To my surprise there wasn't a solution out there. But I did manage to fix it.
How to fix it:
1. Locate the folder with the adb.exe and AdbWinApi.dll and AdbWinUsbApi.dll files.
2. Download the newest adb files from here and extract the files.
3. Copy the adb.exe and AdbWinApi.dll and AdbWinUsbApi.dll files to the folder in step 2 and replace the files there.
4. Retry connecting the device.

I want to pick one from ebay, but I'm not sure that it will work with my carrier.
Could anyone confirm which UMTS bands supports Sprint's galaxy s6?

Rom for mtcb-kd....

Hi, firts of all, thank you for this minutes of your attention, im spanish and im sorry about my english mistakes.

I´ve been searching information in these web but im not sure about what have i got to do because im a "noop" in these unit.
i recently brought a chinese radio android car, and i want to install the WTRP for a backup of the stockrom so i can install roms from these web.

I have two questions;

In these web i´ve seen roms for MTCB-"XXX"....... but i dont find roms for MTCB-"KD" my question is if you can tell me what version can i install??

The other question is ; The radio is already rooted, Why i cannot enter to the develop options for activate the usb debugging, usually on all my android devices i go to "Phone information" , and i press for some times to "compilation number" and the develop option get activate, but on these radiocar unit it doesnt activate. Is there any other options for activate it?

Use your Android device as an automatic wifi adapter

I currently use an old Galaxy 5 as a wifi adapter for my computer. I wrote a small adb script which turns on tethering on boot.

Code:

I use the timeout command because the phone is really slow and sometimes it does not properly load the settings before pressing the next buttons.
I wanted to ask if there was a better way of doing it, using better commands or something. Also is there a way to turn off tethering when computer is shut down?

Dialer app crashing after COS13 update

Hi all,

I recently updated my phone to COS13 (Marshmallow) and the dialer keeps crashing after the latest update. After a quick google search, found that problem might be due to themes. Restored stock theme, clear the data of dialer app, contacts, wiped cache as well with no luck. Please help if anyone knows the solution.

Notification Screen Tweak

Hi All,

I've just migrated from an iPhone (i've been iPhone user all the while) to a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. One thing that I miss about the iPhone is that notification screen especially for whatsapp whereby it does not lump all together into one thread and it gives you the option to reply from the lock screen.

I am wondering if there are such ability for Android (I'm quite sure that there is). If so , could you kindly point me to the right direction :)
