Root Honor 7 PLK-L01 - Risks & Disadvantages?

Hello Guys!

I've been with my Honor 7 for around 4 Months now. I've rooted my good old Xperia Arc S after 2 years, because I've read that I would loose the warranty, when I root it.

Now I am afraid, if I should root my phone now, because I cannot get any information about what disadvantages (like the lost of my warranty etc.) I would have, when I root my Honor 7.
I know that I have unlock the bootloader in order to root my phone. Do I lost my warranty with that? :confused:
What would happen, when I have to invoke the warranty when my Honor 7 is rooted?

Do you have any experience concerning the warranty or anything like that?

First,i have tested this method only on ResurrectionRemix 5.6.7 and CM13 nightly for Nexus 6 and on cm13 snapshot for Nexus 5

Z2 Tablet won't turn, won't charge, no vibrations, red led

Hello,

I've got two tablets (black and white) with a cracked screen. After I ordered a replacement screen I wanted to assemble it to the black one.
After I connected the LCD to the tablet everything worked fine. But at one point the tablet turned itself off and is not coming back to life anymore.

The symptoms are as follows:
- When pressing volume-up + power-button nothing happens, not even a virbration
- When pressing volume-down + power-button also nothing happens, not even a vibration
- When holding the red-button (found near the SD-slot) nothing happens, not even a vibration
- When i plug it into a charger (either pc or wall) the led turns red, flickers some time, and then stays red

What I've tried so far:
I have one white tablet, that works without any problems. So I used its battery (~95% charged) and put it into the black one. But nothing changed :(

Is there anything I can do?

User feedback on Official Cyanogenmod 13 for N5100

Hello guys,

Was wondering if people running the new official CM builds could give the rest of the community some overall impressions about the ROM. Specifically, what's working and what isn't, the issues they've faced so far and suitability as a daily driver. In the dev thread the only thing specified as not working is making calls.

The Dev thread is obviously not appropriate for this discussion and I'm eager to migrate from stock to AOSP since the device has long been abandoned by Samsung.

Crashing, turn off and massive battery loss

So a few times now my note 4 has crashed (black screen) and turned off. When I turn back on the battery level has massively dropped (30-40% gone) yesterday went from about 40% to 0%. The 40% seemed accurate as using it not too much and usually about that percent at that time of day. Also noticed a few other things, when I connect my note to the pc it takes a while to start and stop charging and isn't being recognised by the pc (or the note isn't detecting it is connected to a pc - only charges)

Any ideas?

Not save Call log history in Phone Dialer app.

My nexus 5 is Android 6.0.1 (ResurrectionRemix the latest version and franko kernel r82).

I tried wipe the cache partition, clear the data in Dialer app, normal reboot, and change the kernel from elementalX to franco.

but I called another people and take the calls,
NOT SAVE(SHOWING) CALL HISTORY IN DIALER APP and the other call log app....





What the problem?

Please help abou Phone flash Tool...

It seems i can't flash with Phone Flash tool at the Moment.Till yesterday, it was working all fine.
Now,it is so - i start Phone Flash Tool, choose .json file to flash (say- Mirek ROM), the plug in my device
and press flash, i get an error message, saying that flash is not possible and something about
"device can not reboot" or something... (Device is in dnx mode, i see that in display in small font).
What is here wrong?How i can solve it,please?
