after custom rom slow or no start anymore

Hi,
I flashed on my SM-T805 with wifi and LTE the new Ironrom 2.5 . On my first try something was damaged, dont know why and what. Then via Downloadmode TWPR 2.5 with autoroot. Now I wiped everything in TWRP and after that I wiped the System via advanced...
Of course I have a backup, done with TWRP 3. I restored it but it also didnt worked. After a reboot I just get the Samsung Logo with the flying Pixels. Maybe a Bootloop?
After that the wiping Session again, flashing Samsung Firmware, flashing Iron Rom 2.5.
Now I waited endless just with the Logo and after that - maybe 20 Min or longer - was the first start of Iron Rom. After a new reboot again: Just the Samsung Logo till the akku was empty....
a.) How I'm able to format delete ALL? Or what should I do?
b.) could it be that the Backup didnt restored correctly cause it was made with TWRP 3 and restored with TWRP 2.x? Dont think so...
But who knows...
c.) does anyone know a functional Cyanogen for the SM-T805?
Please give me links too (ROMs, Tools, etc) in case of an answer.
Thank you in advance, good times and peace
;) Follyx

flashing rom on multiple devices at once

I created a custom rom and i want to install it on 200 OnePlus One (bacon) devices.

there must be a way to do it faster than one-by-one. i think maybe get a high performance USB hub and connect 10 devices on it. then use adb to flash the rom. am I right?

there is little info on the interwebs on how to flash to multiple devices at once.
how would i go about doing that? where should i look for more info?

thank you.

edit:
im using TWRP recovery. and i flash the zip with adb sideload.

M8 Failing to Unlock After Relock

Hello all,

I've been following along with instructions I've found on these forums for recovering a soft bricked HTC One M8 but I'm running into some trouble. During the process I have found that the device no longer is allowing commands that alter the lock state. The reason I'm trying to unlock the bootloader (again) is after several failed attempts at loading the RUU with very similar error messages as the one you will see below.

Phone currently has TWRP 2.7.0.2 installed but can no longer access due to locked bootloader.

Here is the result after an attempt at re-unlocking the phone (using brand new Unlock_code.bin from htcdev):

D:\HTC>fastboot flash unlock Unlock_code.bin
target reported max download size of 1826414592 bytes
sending 'unlock' (0 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.139s]
writing 'unlock'...

There is no mistake there. 'version-main' is absolutely missing an OS value. Even the Bootloader shows 'OS- '. Is this phone a brick now?

Auto brightness is too bright on v20D

Hi,

Does anyone know how to limit the range of adjustment of the auto brightness? The autobrightness is very sensitive which I like but it increases the brighness too much in realtion to the ambient light . For example in the morning with clear cloud and no sun, autobrightness goes up to 93% whereas I would have wanted it to be at max 70%.

Mate 8's Skins

Hello everyone!

I would like to know if someone ever found a skin (a la Dbrand) for the Mate 8. I just hate cases and skins are the only protection I would considering slapping on my phone :D

Thanks a lot!

[Q] WPA_SUPPLICANT file restore from nandroid backup

Hello,

I formatted my rooted Galaxy S4 stock ROM to Cri5Barebonev3 with VoLtaqe Kernel.

I had taken a Nandroid backup of the stock ROM before format.

Now I need to restore the WI-FI profiles from the Nandroid backup to the new one.

So i extracted the '/data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf' file from the Nandroid backup ('data.ext4.tar.a' file) and copied all the network entries to
to the new ROM to the file '/data/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf' file .

The new AP's don't show and as I read, I need to restart the phone, but when I do so, somehow the wpa_supplicant.conf file returns to the original.

So I suspect the file gets auto generated on startup and the actual entries are saved somewhere else.

I couldn't find that file, neither by searching in the phone nor on the internet.

So where is that file and how can I restore the network entries.

Thanks.
