update with ota when rooted (without Odin flashing)

Tested on a GT-I9515

The device status was modified when starting but official after these steps.

1. Fully unroot using SuperSU (also uninstall any system modifying apps adaway, xposed)

2 boot to recovery.

3. Wipe cache and reboot to system

4. Do your ota.

5. Have fun with the new software on your phone.

[Q] obtaining ip address wifi

Hi , I've an issue from some week with my i9505 , when i try to access to a network without using static ip address , it says obtaining ip address in loop. I've searched for a lot of solutions , if i put static ip address it works but at university i can't use static ip address i must use dhcp , another solutions was to root the phone and delete some dhcp files, also that i tried when I delete this files and i try to connect to a wifi network they obviously are recreated but I've still a loop with obtaing ip address, I've android kit kat.

Hoping someone will help me thanks

[KERNELS][GUIDE] KERNELS EXPLAINED, governors, hotplug, frequency, CPU, GPU, I/O, etc

I wrote a long thread on Kernels, governors, hotplugs, and a lot more. You might it useful.

It has a lot of general information, not just LG G2 and since I have an OPO too there are lots of information on the kernel I use (Boeffla).

I would be interested if users of other kernels want to add something specific to what they use please let me know (eg: AK, Franco kernels, etc).

I just don't have the time to run around with all the kernels.

Cheers,

bloof
