[Q] Need help rooting ZTE Blade S6
I've read various tutorials and multiple rooting apps: KingoRoot, SRSRoot, SuperOneClick, Rootkit, ERoot, so far I have been unsuccessful.
Using SRSRoot did say Root Complete SuperSU installing, however definitely not rooted.
Anyone had any luck rooting Blade S6? If so, what worked for you?

[Q] Recommended GPU and CPU freq for p6200?
Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus (p6200) | CM 12 unofficial updated to feb 14 (daniel_hk) | stock kernel | rooted
what is the recommended cpu and gpu settings for my device? it seems like other people testing the rom are not experiencing much lags and hangs.. especially when I updated the rom to feb 25, so much hangs... Factory reset (wiped cache, dalvik and data) then flashed rom, factory reset again, then reboot. I overclocked cpu to 1400 with default voltages, and all default in gpu.

ROM Recommendation
Hi,
My brother has some issues with his phone (Moto G 2013, not dual SIM, not 4G) in the last time. The phone is quite unstable, so I recommended him to flash custom recovery, and eventually custom ROM.
The question is which one? This is not ROM vs ROM thread. I do not wont to compare ROMs. Just aks people for they personal experience. If anyone could recommend a stable (his/her personal opinion.) ROM, or comment lolipop, should I got for Kit Kat ROM or Loli (He still hasn't received the OTA update to Lolipop.).
I have tried to research a bit and find out for my self what would be the best option for him, but the task is not so simple, and pretty time consuming. Strange how everything, from rooting to flashing seem so complicated when one looks at the forum, when one actually only has to unlock the bootloader, fastboot flash recovery, and flash the ROM of personal choice (Here I need a bit help : )).

Advice on stock vs custom ROM for non-technical person
Many people have a similar situation where you are wondering if you should keep stock or install a custom ROM on relative's phone, who is not a technical person.
I am wondering if it is better to keep the latest stock Android 4.3 on the Nexus (European version) or if I should upgrade it to a very stable almost stock custom ROM?
I will only be able to provide "maintenance" every 2 months.
My main goal of installing a custom ROM would be to keep it updated with the latest security patches, not so much to have the latest version of android running.
Is it so bad to keep 4.3 running on a phone when its user doesn't really need 4.4 or higher feature?

Fingerprint Lockscreen !?
Is there any way to have a 4 digit pin as a backup password instead of a 6 character password?
I want to use the fingerprint for unlock but not always..i prefer to type a 4digit pin and having a keyboard with only numbers is easier i think
Any way to change it?
