Need to send my Nexus in

I just got my Nexus 6 about a week ago, (on verizon), and I got the right screen freeze issue. Which by the way, I got only when I was using chroma. I haven't gotten it yet on stock. But I already started the return process with verizon.



Now, I want to make sure I get everything stock before I send it in, so I was wondering a few things. I have Android 5.1, and I know the issue with it bootlooping, so what exact steps should I take between these 2 guides? I think during STEP 5 of the first guide, I install the factory image which is detailed in the 2nd guide correct?

Also, if I make a nandroid backup using twm from my original phone, can I restore it on my other phone? Will I have any issues with that?

Vanir 5.0.2 "Unfortunately, Vanir Updater has stopped." on any update.

Hello, I have the Vanir 5.0.2 update, but with any current update I try to apply I get an error saying "Unfortunately, Vanir Updater has stopped." any time I try to run any of them from 5.0.2.04115 to 5.0.2.012915. (those are the only ones in my list). What do I need to do to be able to update?

Kindle fire hdx 8.9 3rd gen live wall papers

Rooted twrp all that fun stuff installed but live wall papers will not work. I fllowed the steps and it just keeps telling me its stopped and wont let me use one.

[Q] upgraded from 5.1 to 5.1 1r

Do we get the Manual controls/mode like the galaxy s6??

I feel Left out with the note 4. Samsung didn't implent many things in the note 4 Lollipop update for the sake of selling the s6. Like the Debloated/slimmed touchwiz, multi-grid support, themes support and most importantly, the new lollipop camera API or the manual controls and RAW support.

But will our Note 4 get these features in upcoming updates; 5.1.x for example, after selling the s6 maybe?

Isn't that changing policy that Samsung seeks? or is it only when it comes to new customers and potential buyers of new devices?!

Google now launcher - Weather/Clock widget

I like the stock google launcher over touchwiz. I just noticed the default weather widget (with clock) is not listed when I have the Google Now launcher active. Is there a way around this? I know I can install xwidget or whatever, but seems weird I can't use a widget that already exists on the phone.
