Moto X 2013 Set To Receive Android 5.1 In “Few Weeks”

Motorola’s Senior Director of Product Management, David Schuster, has announced that the Moto X 2013’s Android 5.1 Lollipop upgrade has begun “TestDrive” in the US and Latin American regions, with full deployment expected in the next few weeks. The Moto X 2013 will jump straight to Android 5.1 from Android 4.4.

Android 5.1.1 OTA for Nexus 9 Captured

After long weeks of waiting, the Google Nexus 9 has finally received an OTA update to Android 5.1.1. The update is not as big as expected and is already captured by OTA expert – XDA Recognized Contributor oldblue910. To install it, you need to run the Android 5.0.2 and install the package via ADB sideload in stock recovery.

Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Gets Showed Off In Advertisements

The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet was launched at MWC in March 2015, and featured a 10.1″ 2560×1600 display in a very sleek form factor. While the tablet is expected to go on sale in June, Sony is trying to build hype for this Snapdragon-810 powered beast by showcasing its IP68 certified qualities, amongst other things.

Hangouts Messages Have No End-To-End Encryption

Android 5.1.1_r2 Released

Google pushed a revision 2 of Android 5.1.1. This release is one of the smallest ever made and brings seven new commits mostly to recovery of Nexus 6 and  Nexus 9. You can find a full changelog. We should all expect builds named as LMY47X pretty soon.
