DroidCon UK 2015 was just last weekend. This London event was brought to you by the organization Skills Matter. XDA TV Host Jordan was there. During the event, he got a chance to talk to some of the people that made this event happen. Jordan and Wendy sat down and talked about the past, present and future of DroidCon UK.

At the end of last month, Mo Versi made an announcement that the One M8 GPE’s OTA for Marshmallow had hit a snag and that it would take a few more days before it went live. We’re starting to see reports in the forums about the OTA finally hitting devices and XDA Senior Member Isotopes was even nice enough to capture the OTA URL.

Android Distribution Numbers for November Show Lollipop Exceeding 25%

Google’s monthly distribution numbers for Android  are out and we see that Marshmallow is currently on 0.3% of all devices that visited the Google Play Store in the last 7-day period. Android 5.0 and 5.1 Lollipop reached 25.6% of devices, while 4.4 KitKat is at 37.8%, 4. Then we have Jelly Bean, Froyo, Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich making up the rest.

ZDNet has an extensive interview with the executive VP of Samsung Pay where they talk about the future of the service. We learn that Samsung Pay has had so much success that it’s attracting more partners with each passing day. A November update will bring support for gift cards, membership cards and in-app purchases. They are also considering letting non-Samsung devices use the MST technology.

In a new blog post published today, Google announces two interesting features that they have added to YouTube’s Android application. First up is that YouTube fully supports VR video now. There are a couple of videos already available for you to experience. Second, all existing YouTube content can now be viewed in a virtual theater without the creator having to change anything.
