Nexus 5X Users Reporting Touch Issues During Charging

It seems that the years 2015 is not sparing any device, as more and more reports have emerged of users of the Nexus 5X claiming that the device has touch response issues during charging. Users on reddit as well as our own forums are complaining that the device significantly lags when using the phone while charging with the standard, original charger.

Google Reportedly Plans to Launch Google Play in China Next Year

Multiple sources close to Reuters claim that Google is getting ready to launch Google Play Store in China sometime in 2016. It is said that Google will be complying with Chinese law, so the store will be kept separate from its overseas counterpart. This means content viewed as sensitive to the communist party will be filtered out and Google Play’s store data will be stored within the country.

Hangouts Guest Access No Longer Requires Google Account

Last year, Google rolled out a feature to Hangouts calls on the web, allowing guests to join a call by means of a shared link, and in a move to further facilitate that feature’s ease of usage, the Hangouts team announced earlier today that guests joining a Hangout will no longer need to be logged in to a Google account to do so.

T-Mobile's Marshmallow Update is Approved, Rollout Imminent

T-Mobile’s Product Manager, Des, has taken to Twitter to announce that their Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA update for the Nexus 6 has finally been approved. The update will have the build number MRA58X and Des tells us that it should be rolling out “soon”. Once an OTA is approved like this, we usually see it hitting devices within a week.
