Google location services / google play services

Hi guys,

i try to keep my phone free from google apps but due to requirements of some apps this is not 100% possible. some apps require at least google maps framework. one does not need to install gapps for that. instead you can just copy 2 files to your system (http://ift.tt/1VyHlc5).

i was wondering, if there is a similar possibility to install google location services. again, this is a requirement of some apps like geohash droid. if there is none, i am willing to install google play services, but can anyone explain to me what this software/app does? does it connect to google / phone home / whatever? do i have to register an gmail account in order to activate it?

Help playing at a casino...

I am trying to figure out a way to play in this US casino because i like there slots. You can deposit from anywhere. Withdraw from anywhere. BUT you can only play from New jersey. Is there a way i could change my location to say im located in New Jersey. Some sorta VPN or something... Thanks for taking the time to read this.

S7 Edge stock contacts app not working without google contacts storage!

I Just got the s7 edge two days ago, prior to getting this phone, I had no experience with rooting, or root apps. I looked into rooting, and found out how useful it can be so today I decided to root for the first time. First thing I installed titanium backup made a backup of all apps and started deleting away any duplicate google apps that I wasn't using. Gmail, Play Videos, books, etc etc, nothing major I thought. I saw contacts storage by google, and right above that I had the stock contacts app, so I thought I wouldn't need it. I uninstalled google contacts storage and my phone right away started acting up, giving me the error, "android.process. acore". I have looked all over google for answers with other phones, and tried everything but nothing has worked.

I have tried:

• Erasing contacts data and cache
• Reinstalling google contacts
  Actually it gets stuck on the installation cursor when I click install, and titanium back up won't let me perform another operation BUT when i reboot my phone the app seems to have been installed however the error comes up again. At first I thought there was something wrong with my app, so I tried to reinstall another app and same thing, it got stuck, I suspect the issue is HERE, but I have no clue how to get past this issue. I tried to buy the pro version of titanium back up and I went into prerferences and changed AUTO/direct to AUTO/indirect but still the same issue.
  
• LAST OPTION: to flash a stock rom for s7 edge (couldn't find one though)

When contacts storage is uninstalled there is no error but I cannot sync contacts from ANY other account, like my microsoft account. I can't even add contacts into my contacts book manually when it's uninstalled. I haven't tried much when it is installed because the rate that the "anroid.process.acore" error comes up make it fking impossible to do anything on the phone! :mad:

I am really hoping someone on here can help me. I have been looking all night for a solution, browsing forums, but nothing has worked for me. If anyone can link me to a stock rom for s7 edge, I will have to just try that.

4.4.2 Quad core-R16,Cortex-A7,1.6G HZ 9" mercedes Head unit

Has anyone had any experience with this item? I've only heard people get the rk3188 with all the buttons that looks like the stock mercedes command unit but I'm really drawn to this because of the bigger screen. I believe the processor is newer but slower in this device however? And I am not sure of any reliability at all because I don't know of anyone that's used it. Custom ROM with best camera?

Hi all,

Since December I'm using a Redmi Note 2 Prime. I like the phone, but not a fan of Miui.
I tried one of the CM roms on here a few months ago, which was a big improvement in user experience for me. Only the poor image quality and slow focus speed was a big let down.
Is there any non-miui rom out there that equals the stock miui camera's image quality and focus speed?

Decrypting?

Hey,

Quick question - can you decrypt a Z3C after it has been encrypted (without doing a factory reset)
