Samsung News: Kies has now been upgraded to Smart Switch (April 2016)

I thought that Kies and Smart Switch, them are both must have and separate Samsung software tools , but it seems that Samsung unified them.
Samsung gets prepared worldwide to support Lollipop.

Internet Connection Problem (WIFI)

Hi guys,

I have been using note 2 since 2013, its all good but I still cant find the solution to fix my wifi connection issues.

The problem is whenever I'm using wifi, sometimes the connection will drop, it doesnt disconnect but it take some time to load anything. I got internet lite meter installed on my note 2, whenever this happened, the apps is loading but the speed in the meter showing 0B/s, means there is no bytes received by my phone.

My internet/router is fine because others devices worked perfectly fine.

I have tried:
- Wifi fixer
- Change ROM
- Change Wifi channel
- Static IP
- Change DNS

Any input is appreciated.

Current ROM is Eclipse v6.

Cm13 Build with Enable/Disable Sim Option

Any of the CM13 builds have a working solution to enable and disable the sims as seen in the Oxygen OS?

Radio apps on android, a rarity?

One thing I've never understood about android is that why are radio apps not common, I mean FM radio not internet streaming radio. Google's Nexus devices don't come with a radio preinstalled, my OnePlus X does, some of my old phones did, yet on the Play Store there are few apps, I mean SpiritFM is the only one I've heard of.

Why is this the case?

This is more of a discussion thread than a simple Q&A, hence I marked it as a standard thread.

[ROM] [Full ZIP] Cyanogen OS 13 ZNH0EAS26M - Untouched

*I'm not responsable for any damage to your device. Do this at your own risk*

I've unpacked the official COS12.1 flashable zip, replaced the files with COS13 system files and updated the boot.img
It includes some permission fixes so everything works okay.

So finally, I got a full COS13 ZIP, including system, boot and firmware. Untouched. If you want to root, I recommend using SuperSU 2.71 BETA
As it is COS, it includes GAPPS and CAPPS
It can be flashed coming from any ROM, since it will wipe and reflash system and firmware, BUT YOU SHOULD WIPE DATA, CACHE AND DALVIK.

Installation:

1. Download the zip
2. Wipe Data, dalvik and cache (except if you come from COS12.1, but then you could use the incremental update)
3. Flash the ROM
4.Flash SuperSU (optional)
5. Enjoy!!
