HELP! GEM702-L B006 Malfunctioning after TWRP zip file installed

Hello, Im hoping that someone with Huawei expertise can assist me. I was trying to customize my rooted device by download and installing Xposed Installer / Framework and a multiwindow zip file. All was well until I entered recovery mode and used TWRP to flash the zip file. After reboot, I wasn't able to get to my home screen. The screen flickered multiple times as if it was trying to pull it up but was unable. I wasn't able to enter TWRP mode and my adb/fastboot program wasn't able to recognize the phone. The only options I was able to access were the internet and the Settings of the phone. The menu options were available but limited as well. The phone would not read the SIM card but was able to read the SD card. Trying to back up data was not possible as HiSuite was unable to detect the phone. As a last recourse, I did a hard reset BUT the phone is still flickering when trying to access the home screen. The only positive is that I am now able to access TWRP and adb/fastboot are detecting the phone. Any suggestions as to how to get my phone back operating like normal again would be greatly appreciated!!

VoLTE Issue

Hi Guys,

My personal device (Nexus 6P), which i bought in USA and use VoLTE features through T-Mobile Network (i can say, very smooth). When I back to Brazil, try to test Nexus 6P on our test bed (All VoLTE features are supported), but failed. These are the technical symptoms:

1 - During the attached procedure, attach request message came with the following set: voice centric is cs voice prefered and ims voice secundary. It means, that the voice must go preferentially trough CS network instead IMS. Another issue is, device do not request create the second session (pdn connectivity request), only being attached on PS and CS network (combined attached).

2 - Subscrition on IMS-HSS/SAE-HSS is ok. Same IMSI worked with others devices.

3 - Checking the hidden menu (*#*#4636#*#*) the provisioning flag is already marked and even if i try to toogle, nothing changes.

4 - There are two frequencies, already test on band 3 (1800 Mhz) and band 7 (2600 Mhz). Both supports VoLTE.

Does google allowing Nexus 6P support VoLTE just in a specific network based on MCC+MNC? If yes, is that possible request to add more MCC+MNC? Or is it possible enable by software update (patch)?

Thank you

So i started to clean up my storage internal/sd card.

When i check the root of the internal i see that there is a log file. around 1mb that is being created every day.

the files is zw_20160408.log (each day it makes one zw_20160407.log etc....)

When i open the log file i get this information (cut down but the same)

Now i google the ip that shows up 98.162.77.202
which comes up with Krypt Technologies, customer.krypt.com
It looks like a cloud server.

My question is why is my phone connecting to this?
How to stop it and fine out which app is doing this.

Help with apktool

I am having an interesting time with apktool. Much of the problem is due to ignorance on my part and I've done some reading and searching but it's still opaque to me. Just to be sure I was even close to getting a result I did the following:

1. Installed a copy of the framework-res.apk from my NST ("1.apk")
2. Decompiled the apk I'm working on ("Books_1.5.2")
3. Recompiled the same app, without changes

Almost immediately I get a string of errors as shown in the attached image. They don't mean a lot to me, but I have suspicions that I don't have the minimum requirements of JRE or JDK or something of the sort on my machine. I don't want to go the whole SDK route if I can avoid it. I just want to play around a little.

I've tried several versions of apktool and always get a similar result. Can someone help?

Note 4 Overheating Custom Rom

Hi all!

After rooting I have tried several custom roms, AOSP and Touchwiz, along with several kernels! But everything I use leads to the top half of the phone overheating and the CPU jumping!
I do not believe that this is hardware issue as prior to custom roms and rooting I had no problems!

Any Ideas?

Thanks!

The rooting method I used was by Max Lee... (Galaxynote4root)
Perhaps that was an issue?

Bluetooth headset

I'm looking to replace my current headset, Sony SBH-80, with a new one and I'm puzzled on which ones are worth getting. I did purchase Origem Magebass sometime ago and while the sound output was slightly better, the design was a huge letdown - very heavy ear piece and just looked out of place. Looking for something more compact like what the SBH-80 offers me. Wired is not an option, just to make that clear - I really do prefer Bluetooth. :p

My budget is up to £50. Would rather keep it low, preferably in £20-30s - unless they have something special, making them worth the extra money. And something with similar battery life to SBH-80 which manages 6-7hrs on most days. :)

Cheers guys!

6.0 to 4.4.2?

Kinda of a small question? But is it possible to go back to 4.4.2 from 6.0 kinda like using the LG flash tool to get back to stock? Tried yesterday and got a model software error I never gotten before on 5.0 and below but when I got on 6.0 I can't flash to stock no more :/ hope there's some kind of solution might find it crazy I'm not to happy with the 6.0 myself for personal reasons.

Thanks in advance!!
