Help! Phone not recognized when plugged in to computer

Please help, I've been having this problem for a while now, when i connect mt phone (XT1563) to my laptop it is recognized but when i try to transfer a file it says "Device stopped responding or has been disconnected". It's on debugging mode and I have also tried turning of the debugging mode but it still won't work. I am currently using Windows 10 on my laptop and my phone has android 6.0.1, unrooted.

Tile app?

Is there a app that easily lets me create a tile widget to call upon certain functions like camer, or apps, or what not? And when i say easy, i mean, i cant write code lol thanks

[Help] Help in downgrading Huawei Honor 4c from Lollipop to Kitkat

Hi guyz,
I have Huawei Honor 4c Build Number CHM-U01C185B120 (kitkat 4.4.2)

I upgraded it to Build CHM-U01C185B310 (Lollipop 5.1.1)

I tried all available methods to downgrade with no hope here is what I did
[1] Flashing a Rollback package [C10B130] ------- Size=34 MB ------- Failed
[2] Flashing a Rollback package [C636Bxx] ------ Size=1.59 KB ------ Failed
[3] Flashing full package [C636 B330] ------------ Size=2.7 GB ------- Failed
[4] Flashing middle package [C636 B330] -------- Size=34 MB ------- Failed
what shall I do to downgrade my phone to kitkat?? please help me guyz

Question About H830 LTE Bands

I just ordered an "unlocked" G5 H830 on Ebay, after carefully checking the LTE bands on the FrequencyCheck. I know I need bands 2 and 17 because I used the LTE Discovery App to determine that my carrier (AT&T US) provides LTE on in my area. But I just realized that other sites show different LTE bands for the H830 model...

FrequencyCheck LTE 1/2/3/4/5/7/12/17/30 (I hope this is right because I need Band 17)
The LG Website LTE 2/4/5/12/29/30, Roaming 1/3/7/20, and CA
Autoprime's helpful G5 thread LTE B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B12/B20

Can anyone confirm which of these is correct? Or verify that the H830 cannot use Band 17? Has anyone succeeded in adding LTE bands to the G5? Perhaps as described in this thread about phones with Qualcomm chipsets?

The moral of the story - check multiple websites when selecting a model with the right frequency bands for your carrier/area!

Amazon UK suddenly stopped selling Shield TV 16GB?

I was shopping for a Shield TV on Amazon UK for a few days and suddenly today there's a message:
"Currently unavailable. - We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."
Could there be a new model coming down the pipe? :confused:

internal and external memory got wiped / including all my data.

Hi guys,

First of all, great forum and great place to learn a lot of stuff about ROM's.
I have been using the forums here for a while.
Now I have a problem with my Galaxy S 4.

Galaxy s4 :gt- i9505 (Beglium)
16Gb version
Custom Rom: optimized cm 12.1 -20160118
android 5.1.1

I had some problems playing my music files on the phone, so i connected the phone to my PC.
I deleted my MUSIC folder from my EXTERNAL card.
Then I saw There are a lot more random folders in the ROOT of my EXTERNAL card.
So I deleted the LOG files, some maps that where for AD's (like GO sms), etc.
As far as I know, I did not delete any system files or folders.

While I was in the external card, connected to the PC, I saw that my INTERNAL card had wheeeeyyy much more free space than 5 minutes before. ( normally 0.9Gb free... suddenly 5.72GB free)
So i disconnected the phone and reconnected it again.

Again same thing.
Again disconnected it and on the phone I could not find ANY FILES, NO pictures, No downloads, NOTHING :(

Basically, my INTERNAL and my EXTERNAL are fully wiped.

with easeUS data recovery I can see all my files and maps on the external, BUT almost all of them are corrupted.
I can not recover them/ preview them.
I have not tried the internal memory yet. It is now doing a DEEP SCAN on the EXTERNAL card, connected to my PC via a SD Card Adapter.

Any possibilities to save something from the external and the internal memory ?

Everything else works normally.
My apps work, my contacts are ok.

PC is set to show hidden and system files => nothing to see
Recycle been on the phone is empty
used some recovery apps from the play store => nothing :(

LG G4 - Volume+ Xposed Module Not Working [MM]

I am trying to get Volume+ to work with my LG G4. However when I reboot, no changes are seen. I have tried using the LG compatibility mode but I've had no success there.

My setup:

LG-H815 (on Vodafone in the UK)
Unlocked Bootloader
Android 6.0 Marshmallow
V20B ROM for the G4 - I have deodexed the system apps to make Xposed work. See HERE: http://ift.tt/1qHXxMG
TWRP 2.8.7
SuperXE Kernel (I've also tried the default 20B kernel but that's not working with Volume+ either)
Root Access with SuperSU 2.68 (systemless)
Xposed v78 (installed through TWRP) - currently, newer versions (from v79 and upwards), G4 users have reported a bootloop. Since there is no fix for this that I have found (yet), I am using v78 which is compatible with all of my Xposed modules.

Yes, I have activated the module and rebooted after any alterations. Other modules are working. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated!

Volume+ v1.3.0 is the version I'm using - I got this from the. Other G4 users claim that it works with the LG compatibility setting checked, but this is not the case for me.

PS: this is my first post on XDA, sorry if I'm doing anything wrong, I'll try to learn from my mistakes :)
