Storage Problem

Hey guys, Im on rooted N preview on my 6p right now. When I first got my device around December, I had a strange bug which let my complete internal storage go into another folder above it. I just deleted the files, and everything was okay again. It seems like it has somehow returned, but this time I cant delete the folders/files with any Filemanager. I have added a few screenshots below for better understanding. So basically some files from my Internal Storage duplicated into the emulated folder, but they are files from around a month ago. It wouldnt mind me, but there is a 4 GB Twrp backup in there which wastes a lot of space. Any help is appreciated. Also sorry for my bad English, im from Germany :)

Huge battery drain issue from Mediaserver

Hi,

I'm on stock ROM with 920T and having huge battery drain from Mediaserver. It just starts running wild for no apparent reason, making the phone run 100 degrees F and burning the battery down in a couple of hours even with screen off and apps closed. My only option seems to reboot.

I have no MP3s nor other media on the phone, so I'm completely baffled. I'm not rooted and have disabled bloatware. Same problem occurs with all packages enabled?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Using Volley deprecated after Apache HTTP Client Removal in Android 6.0?

Hi guys,
from the official Android 6 changelog
Quote:

Android 6.0 release removes support for the Apache HTTP client. If your app is using this client and targets Android 2.3 (API level 9) or higher, use the HttpURLConnection class instead. This API is more efficient because it reduces network use through transparent compression and response caching, and minimizes power consumption. To continue using the Apache HTTP APIs, you must first declare the following compile-time dependency in your build.gradle file: ...
For example here:
android.googlesource.com/platform/frameworks/volley/+/master/src/main/java/com/android/volley/toolbox/HttpClientStack.java

So do I understand right that using the library Volley is also deprecated(as for now), because it is using org.apache.http.client classes?

I think it's a contradiction, because Volley is also developed by Google. Would you use Volley in a newly developed app?

Best regrads,
hgbdev

Moto G (2014) stuck in Bootloader. (POWER & VOLUME KEYS NOT WORKING)

I have a Moto G (2014) running a custom recovery (TWRP) and custom ROM (Cyanogenmod). I entered in AP Fastboot Flash Mode and then connected a USB Cable. My phone showed 'USB connected' but then when i tried to flash a different custom rom from my pc, it said "waiting for device' and i realized that my phone was no longer connected. However, my phone still shows 'USB connected' and my phone is stuck. The power and volume keys have become unresponsive. I can no longer navigate using the volume keys and can no longer force restart my device by long pressing the power key. In short, my phone is completely stuck, including the power and volume keys. Right now I am just waiting for the battery to run out as the battery is also non-removable. If any one knows any alternative and quicker method please help.

Yet again another S2 Classic battery question

After reading through some posts, I want some clarification plz. I picked up AT&T's version of the S2 classic(4g). Battery life pretty bad IMO. I have been connecting through 4G I assume, which I read today that it showing "connected remotely" on both the phone and S2 is using 4G radio, which is the battery killer, correct? Or even worse in standalone, which uses it own cell number correct? So am I just to pair it with BT only?,(showing "connected via BT" on both phone and S2), I too use Numbersync to use only the phones number on the S2. Seems no matter the configuration, all calls, texts and such work correct. The only grip is when a call or text is received, and is answered on the S2, it leaves the missed call or text notifications on the phone. Any way to correct that? Thanks in advance.
