Getting the LG G5 abroad, what things to check for? & How to access secret menu?

Hi all!

Thinking of purchasing the LG G5, but seems LG G5 hit a roadblock in my country due to regulations, am thinking of getting it abroad, which means returns will be difficult.

Any ideas on what things i should be looking out for?
I was thinking there were some complains about some units having gaps between the removable module and the body, so that's one...
Sharp edges issue...

And i was thinking of testing the screen for dead pixels, how do you access the "secret" service menu on the G5 to test the LCD display?
