Android 6.0.1 is not a rumor anymore. Google has begun the roll-out of the first minor revision to Marshmallow for the 2nd gen Android One devices. If you have one of these devices, XDA Senior Member 1cefire prepared a TWRP/PhilZ/CWM flashable zip with /boot and /system partitions. Keep in mind that it’s not an OTA, which is yet to be captured.
T-Mobile Nexus 7 LTE’s Marshmallow update has been paused by the operator. We can only assume that someone pressed the pause button due to bugs found in the system. It’s not cancelled, as T-Mobile promised to resume the updating process in early December. Hopefully T-Mobile’s technicians will manage to resolve all the issues found so far.
Good news for Motorola Moto G (2015) owners! XDA Senior Member Alberto97 managed to bring an Android 6.0 Marshmallow to this wallet-friendly phone. CyanogenMod 13 still has a number of issues to be solved, but it’s definitely nice to see the newest incarnation of Android running on this device just a few weeks after its release.
