BLOCKS Modular Smartwatch Makes it onto Kickstarter

BLOCKS, the world’s first modular smartwatch has finally made its way onto Kickstarter. This is a project that has been in development for around 2 years and they seem to be ready to go into production. As of writing this, the campaign has 37 days to go and they’ve already surpassed the $250,000 goal they were looking for.

Google Acquires Divshot, Plans to Migrate Customers to Firebase

Google has just announced that the company has acquired Divshot, a platform to help developers build mobile and web apps. The old Divshot team will start focusing on making Firebase better and they suggest existing Divshot customers migrate their data over to Firebase because the Divshot servers will be shut down on December 14th.

Dave Burke, Google’s Android Engineering Vice President, was recently in Seoul, South Korea to talk about the upcoming Nexus devices. David told the press that Google engineers really like working with LG on Nexus devices and that they don’t see this partnership ending anytime soon.
