Businesses Get Unique Holiday Hours Added to Google Maps and Search

Holiday Hours Added to Google Maps and Google Search

For a while now, both Google Maps and Google Search have had the ability to display at which hours a certain business will be open. If it’s a holiday, though, it would have displayed the same hours and business owners wouldn’t have been able to change this. Now, they will be able to set unique hours for when their place will be open for a holiday.

Google is Reportedly Looking into Designing its Own Chips for Android

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - JANUARY 30: A sign is posted on the exterior of Google headquarters on January 30, 2014 in Mountain View, California. Google reported a 17 percent rise in fourth quarter earnings with profits of $3.38 billion, or $9.90 a share compared to $2.9 billion, or $8.62 per share one year ago. Reports suggest that Google has been looking into design its own SoC that will be used in upcoming Android devices. It seems like it will be similar to how Apple does their chips, as Google will come up with a design and then hire an outside company to fabricate the chips. So far, there isn’t a timeline set other than the ‘next few years’.
