Google Play Books Update Improves Comic Book Readability

Google has just announced a new update to their Google Play Books application that focuses specifically on viewing comic books. The new update introduces a vertical scrolling feature that helps view comic books in landscape mode and they’ve also made it much easier to find individual comics as well as the entire series.

Google Play Services 8.3 Brings Improved Sign-In for Apps

Google’s new Sign-In API has removed requirements for device permissions for access to accounts on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The new Play Services makes use of this to improve the sign in experience for apps that need a Google account for functioning. Signing in into apps requires lesser clicks, is more intuitive and less invasive by default.
