Today, it has been announced that the OnePlus 2 has its own official release of TWRP. As of right now, you can download and install TWRP v2.8.7.0, which is the latest stable release of the popular custom recovery solution.
A new report from Counterpoint Research focuses on the marketshare of all the major smartphone manufacturers. Leading the pack is Samsung with 21%, followed behind by Apple with 14%. Then we have Huawei with 9%, Xiaomi and ZTE with 5%, LG with 4% and lastly TCL with 3%.
Thanks to Samsung KNOX and Sectra’s Tiger/R secure platform, the two companies were able to partner up to obtain a European government contract for mobile devices. An unnamed European defense organization is the first to test the initial batch of devices and if done well, this could open up more opportunities for the two companies.
