Extending upon XDA Recognized Developer Unjustified Dev‘s work, XDA Senior Member 6th_Hokage has written a guide on how to root the LG G Stylo (LGLS770) variant on Android 5.1.1. The process is a bit drawn out, but should be no problem if you follow along the instructions carefully.
Released by XDA Senior Member u-ra, this CM12.1 build is a preview build of what the developer hopes will become the officially supported nightlies for the Mate 2. The build is for MT2L03 only, and requires a specific version of TWRP and an unlocked bootloader to install the build. Bugs for the ROM are nominal, with just the HDR function being disabled.
In an interview with ET, Micromax Co-founder Vikas Jain mentioned of Micromax’s plan to develop its own forked version of Android, much like Xiaomi. This OS will aim to bring a differentiated experience to consumers across all platforms, including wearables. The apps and services developed for this OS will also reach the YU series of smartphones.
