Sony’s New Sulfur Battery Technology Could be Available by 2020

Sony's New Sulfur Battery Technology Could be Available in 2020

It was Sony who introduced the Lithium-ion battery back in 1990, and it could be Sony that creates the next generation battery tech as well. The company has been working on a Sulfur-based battery that lasts 40% longer than the ones we have now. If everything goes well, Sony could have these new batteries mass produced and in commercial products within the next 5 years.

Qualcomm Has Renamed the Snapdragon 618 and 620 SoCs

Due to the hardware inside them (the advanced X8 LTE modem, ARM-A72 CPU, and the Adreno 510 GPU), Qualcomm feels a need to distinguish the Snapdragon 618 and the Snapdragon 620 from the rest of the 600 series pack. So from now on, the 618 will be known as the Snapdragon 650 and the 620 will now be the Snapdragon 652

Seeing other operating systems on Android devices isn’t uncommon. Seeing a working GNU Linux on an Android Wear device is. Android Marshmallow Limits Addition to User Dictionary

dictionary

In older versions of Android, any third-party app could add words to the user dictionary. One developer noticed that his app could no longer add words to the user dictionary on 6.0, and a Google developer responded saying that this behavior was intentional. It seems that Google has restricted which apps can modify the user dictionary by only allowing the current IME and spell checker apps to make changes. This move was probably done to prevent intrusive spam from littering your dictionary.
