Verizon Announces New, Simplified Plans for Data Devices

Along with serving voice and data service to smartphones across the United States, Verizon Wireless also sells data plans to data only devices. For anyone with a tablet or hotspot device, the company has just announced some new data plans for its customers. You have the choice of 500MB for $15/week, 1GB for $20/month, 2GB for $35/2 months, 5GB for $60/2 months or 10GB for $100/2 months.

100 Billion App Links Are Now Indexed by Google

Google has been doing a big push to get deep links of mobile applications. Amit Singhal was recently interviewed by Kara Swisher and told us that Google is now indexing over 100 billion links within applications are searchable via Google’s search engine. Not only that, but 40% of applications that are indexed on Android are appearing on the first page of mobile search results.
