YouTube Kids App Receives an Update

Seven months ago we saw Google release a YouTube application catered specifically for kids and family friendly contently. Today, the YouTube team is announcing some interesting new features for the kids version of the application. The update brings features like streaming to a connected TV with Chromecast and Apple TV, guest-curated playlists, enhanced parental controls and a personal passcode instead of the original type.

Amazon Will Ban Sale of Apple TV and Google’s Chromecast

Amazon to Stop Selling Apple TV and Chromecast Devices

On October 29th, Amazon will be removing all listings of video streaming devices that do not support Amazon Prime Video (like Apple TV and Google’s Chromecast). Amazon wants all of the video streaming products they sell to support Prime Video to “avoid customer confusion” so any streaming devices that are not Amazon’s will be removed by the end of the month.
