[Q] how do i apply the precut adhesive

Factory image / OTA and F2FS

Hi there,



I searched a lot on the subject, but I'm still not sure if/how this would work:

Can you install a factory image or an OTA update on a F2FS formated Nexus 7 2012?

Currently I have a lollipop custom ROM and kernel, with all F2FS and TWRP running on my Nexus 7. Could I install a custom kernel on my F2FS formated NExus 7, like Phantom, and then only flash system.img and userdate.img from a lollipop factory image? Then, could I simply flash future OTA update zips?

[Q] Looking for a clean rom

Hello all,



I have looked alot in the index sections and read alot of the threads and CM website pages.

My question is somany asked in the XDA forum but I don't see a awnser or my device.

I have seen so many rom's that the phrase to many three to see the forest.



I'm looking for a stable kitkat 4.4.4 from CM. But as light as possible. I mean as close like the google rom as possible.



If the awnser of my question is something that I could find very easly please tell me how I need to find it as well on my own for next time.

(like search words or a general site)

[Q] Android 5.1 Nandroids not showing up in clockwork folder

Flashed the 5.1 update, and then flashed the CWM recovery (Philz Touch). I proceeded to do a backup, when I went to my folder afterwards with root explorer, I do not see the backups, however going into the CWM shows the backups. I like to copy my backups over to a flash drive. Any ideas why root explorer is not seeing them but CWM shows all my backups even older ones prior to updating to 5.1? Thank you in advance.

I am about to purchase my Nexus 6, and wanted to know if I root and install CM12, should I decrypt the device before or after? Or do some roms come with this feature built in?
