Are you getting an M9?

Yes I have an M8 and I don't see why everyone is giving the M9 such a hard time. Yes it looks the same but really no different than an "S" release by apple. Camera and specs nice upgrade and since I don't us a case two-tone color for me. Also one year of free insurance minus loss/theft is a great deal. I also hope the radio is a little better since sprint LTE signal strength isn't the best.

[Q] Tasker problems

So I'm having a weird problem with tasker not doing anything when headset/headphone/aux plugged in. Basically any task I set for the "headset plugged" profile, tasker will not do anything. I've tried different tasks, even those not related to music.



Here's the weird thing:



When I plug in my main pair of headphones, nothing happens at all. When I plug my phone into the stereo via aux cable, it won't do anything either, however when I unplug the aux cable my music will start playing. :confused:



I've been messing with this for 2 days. At first I thought it was tasker not working properly, but then I set a different profile (turn on wifi when I get home) and that works great.



From what I've researched, the G3 has issues with the software that tells the phone a headset is plugged in. At this point I'm thinking about loading a CM12 ROM.

[Q] Is there any custom rom coming out for huawei g700? or maybe a official update?

I bought my new huawei g700 about 3-4 months ago.. And Android 4.2 is driving me crazy. Will there be a custom rom or a update? I have been searching for about 2 weeks and can't find any good information =(

Rooting and flashing for dummies

I want to root and flash my G3 but I don't know a lot of the lingo. Back when I did it to my s3 it was just a few clicks. Can someone point me to a walk through that doesnt start from the middle?



I am hoping that a new rom will solve my two major problems : the wifi not staying connected to my gopro, and the phone corrupting my gopro video files when the sd card is inserted.
