[Q] Verizon HTC One Max Hotspot Not working in Australia
Ive been using my HTC One Max in the states for 6 months and it works great. I brought it to Australia and am using it successfully on the OPTUS network with few issues. No 4G, but the H, or 3.5G network here is really strong. The only thing i need to change on it is the hotspot will not turn on with the OPTUS (local Cell provider) sim card in it. Actually, it wont turn on with the Verizon sim car in it either if its associated to an Optus tower. The Error that comes up when I turn it on is - 'An Error has occurred. Please Try again later.' Does anyone know a work around for this? Is it locked out unless it sees a verizon tower? THanks in advance:)))) Matt

For anyone reason at all, what was your all time favorite phone you've ever owned?
Personally mine was the Galaxy S Vibrant, a T-Mobile phone. It was the first Android device I'd ever owned, and I Loved showing that thing off around school. It got me into rooting, and really just started this interest I now have in Android devices. (:

[Q] Please help lollipop broke my tablet what do I do!
please help my tablet doesnt do anything.
I've had this tablet for less then a month...my case hasnt even arrived in the mail yet. I just tried to update to lollipop this morning and now it wont turn on.
Heres what happened:
During the update the pc companion app mentions in step 1 that it may turn off on its own. it did.
Step two said to follow the instructions on screen which were to unplug, turn off device, hold volume down while plugging in, dont touch...
well...it never turned back on from step 1, but the rest i followed. i waited for like 10 minutes but the pc companion app never recognized my device. finally theres a button the screen for trouble shooting
In there it says to hold power and volume down to turn off tablet. I did that.....now....the tablet does NOTHING
-I cant get it to light up when i plug it into power
-I cant get it to turn on when i hold power
-I cant get the blue light for fastboot when holding power and volume up
-The device is dead cold and NOTHING i do gets any reaction.
On official xperia forum a mod told me to hold power and volume up for 10 seconds (i assume i he means to do the fastboot thing) then use the companion app to fix it.
that does nothing, my computer doesnt see the tablet and the pc companion app gets stuck in a "please wait..." menu...still awaiting a response from him/her

I have the International edition, black (which has no warranty luck me...)

Bootloader not unlocked (i wanted to unlock it but the fastboot drivers posted on their site dont work)
debug mode was not on when i started this (PC companion doesnt see the tablet in debug mode)
my PC is running windows 8.1 Pro x64
I'm seriously close to breaking into tears, if anyone out knows what to do please PLEASE help me

watchmaker not updating time in ambient mode.
I downloaded a watchmaker face that has ambient hands. I turned on ambient mode but the hands don't move.
