Thought my Note 5 died this morning, 4 hours later got it working again

First thing this morning, my Note 5 was working fine. Used the navigation to get to the house I was working at today, as well as simultaneously using Autoguard dash cam app. I got to the job, exited the navigation and Autoguard, got out of my van, holstered the phone.

About 15 minutes later, I try to use my phone to take some pictures, but nothing would happen. Black screen. Couldn't restart by holding the power button. Tried getting into both recovery and download modes. Plugged in the phone to see if it would charge. I was getting absolutely nothing. It was like my device had just up and died. I just kept wondering, could the board have been fried or maybe the battery shorted?

I was dreading the thought of seeing if warranty would cover the device, even after having it for only 5 months. I've been screwed before by the insurance and warranty service on other phones. Making me pay the deductible for a new device, and them claiming that there was water damage, showing me the "damage", when it's obviously a fried board and the moisture sticker isn't activated.

But anyway, lunch time rolls around. I go sit in my van, start pressing the buttons again. Still no restart, still no recovery, but then I try download mode, and viola. Device got into download mode. I canceled out, and the device rebooted normally. I was at 100% power when I got to the job site, and after roughly 4 hours later of it being unresponsive brought it down to 60%.

My mind was put at ease. Charged up normally afterward. The rest of the afternoon there were no more hiccups. Has anyone else ever had something like this happen?

Where can i find Chromium browser

I used to have a browser called chromium. If someone has this or can point me in the direction, I'd be a happy camper.

S4 Mini i9195 stuck in bootloop

I've been having a problem with an S4 Mini recently. A few weeks ago, it stopped booting whatsoever. I tried the "debrick.img" method but it only said that there was an error flashing to the eMMC. At that point in time, I was assuming it had a dead eMMC and I had to buy a new motherboard. I brung it out again a few hours ago and it booted, except it is stuck in a bootloop. If I try to enter recovery mode, it says "BOOTING RECOVERY MODE..." in the top left corner, then says "No command.". After a few seconds it then reboots.

I have attempted using Odin to flash TWRP but the same error occurs with the device, like it wasn't even flashed with TWRP. I did also try to flash a stock ROM, but to no avail. It's just stuck in this boot loop.

The Odin logs say that the flash was successful, so I don't see how it could be failing. Right now, it is sitting right next to me, vibrating, showing the manufacturers screen and then rebooting. All I can assume at this point is the eMMC is dead, and I should buy a new motherboard.

If there is any fix to it, I would really appreciate you could tell me so I can attempt to get it working again.

UPDATE: I just attempted to take the battery out to try and reflash the Stock ROM but now, it's showing the QHSUSB_DLOAD driver. This happened the last time and a friend told me that this is a dead eMMC and the device is basically now a brick. Hopefully this is just temporary and the device decides to be nice and function again. Fingers crossed!

UPDATE 2: I was doing some research and something appeared in Device Manager called "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM5)". I googled the driver and apparently it is a sign of a bricked Qualcomm Snapdragon. I'm going to try the unbricking steps and hope that this is the problem, and I don't need to buy a new mainboard.

Flash LGE440G

Hello.

I recently bought an LG lge440g from a friend as a present for someone special (since I'm broke:fingers-crossed:) knowing it was kinda bricked.
  • All it has is "download mode" and "security error" messages, hoping to fix it.
  • Pulsing (volume+)+(home)+(power) buttons give a buzz without any message and does nothing.
  • I tried most tools, including LGmobile support tool (4% stops), flash 2014, and some other software, without being able to detect the phone.
  • I lost count on how many drivers I installed yet, pc don't even make a sound when conected.
  • Tried on 4 different computers with WinXP, Win7 and Win10.
  • tried with and without battery.
  • I'm starting to lose hope

Any help or guide would be greatly apreciated, and sorry for my bad english (non native).
