[Q] XTE MAX: how do I change the lock screen wallpaper?

The day I bought the phone I changed the brand advertisement from Metro PCS to a pic from either my gallery or photos, now I cannot change it anything else. After going to SETTING>DISPLAY>D>WALLPAPER, it goes nowhere but set wallpaper, no SET AS , please help. You can inbox me at lady.connoisseur@hotmail.com
