Gear not working with certain roms?

Hey guys! I've successfully paired my gear to my LG Optimus L9 running Cyanogenmod before, running 4.4.4 kitkat. Then when I switched roms to CarbonRom running 4.4.4 as well, it would no longer connect to my gear. The phone would stay at the "connecting to gear part" while the actual watch did nothing but told me to select the gear from Gear Manager. Now i'm trying to pair it to my Blu Studio Energy, running stock 4.4.2 and its refusing to pair. I don't know what the CM rom did to make it pair, but I just noticed that the Gear refuses to pair with certain roms..
