[Q] Samsung galaxy s3 i9300 black screen

I put a custom rom on my friends s3 and it was working fine but 2 days later he showed me his phone and it had a black screen. I downloaded the official ROM and used Odin to flash it the phone turns on but still has a black screen but you can still hear the samsung noises when you press back or menu which also light up. However when I go into download mode I can see the screen perfectly as in no black screen.



Any help will be appreciated.
