Reboot, Reflash, and Relax...then go by the sequential steps! If you get to one that turns everything haywire...therein lies the problem.
How to use Verizon Roms on Note 3
It's not the boot loader. We can use Verizon Roms for the note 3 with this simple fix. Yes it works and you have data, outgoing calls, incoming calls, incoming and outgoing texts and mms. Got the video from High On Android (like the video) here is everything in hard copy. AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD THE ROM...FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS!
To get to APN:
1. Settings
2. More networks
3. Mobile Networks
4. Click ACCESS POINT NAMES
5. CLICK THE PLUS
6. MOST IMPORTANTLY DO THIS AFTER DESIRED ROM IS DOWNLOADED!
AFTER YOU SKIP EVERYTHING AFTER INITIALIZING THE ROM, OR DO WHAT IT ALLOWS WITHOUT ERROR. THEN GET TOO THE HOME SCREEN.......THEN START WITH THE APN SETTINGS BELOW!
1. Go to APN and create what ever name you choose
2. Sprint APN : n.ispsn
3. MMSC (and sms) : http://ift.tt/UCRSr8
4. MCC: 310
5. MNC: 120
6. Multimessaging prox : 68.28.31.7
7. Multimedia port : 80
8. Save then call Sprint 411
Finally you have to use a different app for text/sms in the video Max uses 8SMS. I use Go SMS.
