Galaxy S2 Yellow Tint Display Problem SOLVED FOR REAL!!!

What is "Yellow Tint Display Problem"?

It shows us leds are slowly burning inside and this problem is not sgs2 only. All samsung phones (maybe other brands too but I'm not sure) which have LED screen have this issue after some usage.

Our device is 4 yo and I think your white color is yellow and other colors are washed, like my phone. If you look closely your status bar on full white screen you will see clock signal and battery bar's shadow is there. And this is perfectly normal.

SOLUTION

USE A KERNEL WHICH SUPPORTS COLOR CHANGING.

I am using Gustavo's kernel and I edited colors. Now my whites look like more white and all colors look good. I don't have a camera to show you the difference (screenshots are don't prove it). After flashing a color changing supported kernel download synapse.

I am not responsible to anyhing if anything happens on your device.... bla bla bla usual stuff.

So here is my settings. Try and see the difference!

1. Make sure Scenario and Mode is Default on Screen section then swype to Colors

2. MDNIE Hijack -> CHECK

3. Red Level -> 220

4. Green Level -> 220

5. Blue Level ->6

220 for 3rd and 4th step. Because 255 is not look like natural (looks gross)

Blue level is 6 because of balancing yellow and blue to get a perfect white

DO NOT TOUCH A SETTING from Red-Green level to Cyan-Red level

6. Cyan-Green level -> 220

This setting for more blue. Blue looks like purple on my screen. Now FIXED ;)

DO NOT TOUCH A SETTING from Cyan-Blue level to Magenta- Blue level

7. Yellow - Red level -> 240

8. Yellow - Green level -> 240

9. SKIP

10. White - Red level -> 240

11. White - Green level -> 240

This settings corrects white screen
