[Q] Help a noob stuck on Factory Reset Status 2

So I am so extremely new to this, first of all, so sorry if I sound like an idiot. Basically, I think the LG's skin sucks, and so I wanted to install CM12. I rooted by phone, but since I was on Lollipop, I kept getting boot verification error when I wanted to enter recovery mode. So from there, my friend told me to downgrade to Kit Kat, so I used a guide on YouTube. I can't post the link yet, but its called How to Unroot LG G3! [All Variants] by Anuj Patel. I followed that, but got "Factory Reset Status 2." So i did it all again, and I'm still getting "Factory Reset Status 2." What do I do? Remember explain it to me like i'm five, I am super new to this. Thanks a bunch.
